Price increase to £35 inc P&P I've managed to fix the aperture issue and there is a bit of an improvement in the focus (less stiff, still a bit towards the close focus end) so now you have the opportunity to own a properly working Pancolar legend at a bargain price :lol:

Try an Irix Dragonfly lens. The Irix 150mm macro (Dragonfly) is very good (but manual focus, so not good if you want auto-focus!). It's my favourite for outdoor macro. There's one on MPB at the moment. Steve

Is it possible to use an AF Pentax lens with the 1.7 adaptor? Yes. I've used the 1.7 adapter with the DA*300mm f4 to see whether it worked. It did. But AF is provided by the adapter, not by the lens, so you have to get fairly close to focus by hand to give the adapter's AF a chance. The reason ...

In good overall condition, filters work as intended, focus and aperture work well. There is some haze and fungus on a rear element. the lens is usable as is but would benefit from cleaning. Happy to send photos if needed. £25 + postage.

I've got an SMC Pentax-A 50mm f/1.2, which I bought from a Japanese seller about a year ago, but I don't use it much. I find the Zeiss 35mm f/2 a lot easier to focus with on both my K-5 IIs and K10D. I'd be open to selling it, but I think shipping to the UK post-Brexit could be a nightmare.
