Nice to be back - first efforts
Welcome back, and thanks for nice little selection of shots - no constructive criticism needed, glad you're enjoying the K5iis, still my favourite APS-C 8)

Nice to be back - first efforts
I was wondering if it was one side of the Rhine or the other, I'll be there in May/June next year (in Freiamt) which isn't too far away...

For someone who has been 'away' for so long, these are extraordinary. As many others have written, more dog please. What a lovely 'sleepies now' image (No. 3). All are a delight. As LennyBloke says, welcome back.

An excellent 'comeback'. Hard to fault any of them but I think the sleepy dog won the prize.

I was wondering if it was one side of the Rhine or the other, I'll be there in May/June next year (in Freiamt) which isn't too far away... I think Freiamt is in the Black Forest right? Plenty of nice photo opportunities around there. If you pass through Stuttgart and want to meet up for a photowalk ...

Royal Armouries Leeds
Love the images. They're well done. Have been there a couple of times now. The first time was 2013, this was one of the pictures I took at the time. The weapons, the armour, an incredible display. What was impressive was seeing a display of fighting techniques using (replica) we...

Primulina 'Stardust'
One of Mrs L's favourites, so not possible to adjust stems and flowers in any way that might cause damage (first to the plant, then to me...). A focus stack of 15 with Affinity Photo. K3 + DA 35mm macro. Thoughts, comments etc. welcome as usual. Steve

Humber Bridge.
So much to like about the last photo. Strong shapes, texture in the bridge, clouds and river. Monochrome works really well. Reviewing all the images I am drawn back to the first and I can't quite work out why, maybe because it is almost a silhouette. Enjoyed them all.

A walk around British Camp
Its years since I scrambled to the top of the Malverns, although I've beheld them from below and from a distance many times since. That's a lovely collection which brought back pleasing memories for me. David.

U2 to the moon and back
Fabulous shots Chris...all excellent. The Moonshot though is exceptionally good (even if there is this annoying aircraft in the frame) :D regards Karlo

U2 to the moon and back
Great shots - as Karlo says the Moon shot is exceptional - "Final Approach" has me a little confused though, the angles look as though you are shooting the plane from above :?: :?:

U2 to the moon and back
Thanks both, I can assure you both feet were firmly on terra firma on final approach, the U2 was doing circuits and this was his first approach after take off and a much tighter line and descent than later approaches, giving the angles it does look like I could have been above him. What amazed me...

K3iii + 150 - 450 combi test
Whilst tracking and waiting for a B1 overhead on Thurs late afternoon with clear skies, I spotted an airliner overhead, and tried a grab shot, the K3iii locked focus quickly and I just shot one image. Don't know the exact height of the aircraft or type, although it could be a B767, similar flight...
