The one with the anchor is really nice - great 3D feel to the picture.

Anyone else noticed that the price on the "old" Sigma 10/20 (f4-5.6) seems to be going up, but the "new" Sigma (f3.5) is coming down - there's barely £50 in it now.

Is this a result of the universal slateing the f3.5 version has been getting in reviews so noone is buying it...? Second-hand prices seem to be staying-up, although maybe when the 8-16mm comes out later in the year there will be more?
Where can you get one for £50 - I'll take one for that!?

So, a few friends of mine want to do a photo-a-day type thing between us. Are there any websites that are setup to allow us to all upload to the same site and have us see the others pictures? Something simple would be nice.

I'll join the freebie club, though I doubt anyone would want it. I've got a 512MB memory module for a Dual Core laptop if anyone wants. It's a PC2-5300MHz single chip SODIMM with 200 pin. Shipping should be like 2GBP anywhere in the UK

The fight got worse, but they parted ways eventually. This was a long ways off, and these are heavily cropped images. Damn Canadians just sitting by watching whats going on

Man those goose are kinda crazy this time of the year, eh? I'm continuously surprised with what I can get hand-held with my mirror lens.

http://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/Pentax-Rear-Teleconverter-F-1.7x-Autofoc... shows that most people like them, but someone with some Pentax * lenses isn't happy with the quality.

If you want * quality, ideally you should go for a matched TC. For that Tamron, I'd do the Tamron SP (and only SP) teleconverter: http://www.photographyreview.com/mfr/tamron/35mm-converters/prd_85108_3132crx.as...

There are matched Tamron teleconverters - I'm pondering getting one for my mirror lens. There are also matched Sigma APO ones for the sigma lenses.

While I've never had a Pentax 1.7x converter, I've heard they are pretty epic. They turn manual focus lenses into automatic focus lenses, which is pretty cool. Also, they are often reported as having a very high lens quality. Remember though, a TC will magnify any faults with the lens that you are using it on.

If he wants to get rid of the TC, esp for cheap ... tell him to give me a message
