Ah, but free stuff is good for fiddling about and doing mad things with. Like the person I saw on another forum who made a lens with a spare mount, element, and a couple of cardboard tubes.

Ok, I also have a pentax body here:
Pentax P30 SLR. Very capable, and rather stylish if its shell was in other materials (IMO).
It is working, I've tested, but I won't be supplying batteries and don't have a body cap, sorry. It has a Quantaray neoprene strap which is very comfortable. I'll also include a shutter release cable for it.
You can find photos here (tried to sell it to no avail).

I already have one, so I'd definitely recommend it. A very under-rated body that will work with all K mount lenses (even the later FAs without an aperture ring, although it'll be in shutter-priority mode).
