Smeggypants.

How do you do this?
I have a K10D and Sigma 17-70, and I'am not convinced that the focusing is all it should be.

I went through T5 at 0600 recently, every thing was open.

Suggest you pack your credit card in your suitcase...

It certainly was a Pentax 100mm f2.8 Macro, Not sure about the DFA bit.

They has a K200d marked for clearance and a 55-200 for about £150, it was the 100mm that caught my eye.

Does anyone have one, any good?

Was in a local branch of Currys this evening, they had the above for £349.99.

Is this a good price, i've been looking for a prime lens in this or similar length.

Scott, I think the images are great. I'm fairly inexperienced, technically, others may be more critical, but I'd be proud of them, especially no. 3.
What camera / lens did you use?

After much deliberation, I bought a Sigma 17-70 this morning.

Hopefully, if it stops raining, will be trying it out tomorrow

When do you think that the other retailers will follow suit!
Many have already.

There was stock of the 50-135 at another dealer at the old price (£559, iirc), earlier in the week, I hestitated until today and the price is nearly a grand!!

Obviously, its karma after my £10 grip bargain.

Looks like I will go for the Sigma 17-70 after all.

Ahem.....It was fun, but being totally OT now (mea culpa), let's not forget the original post and the wealth of info ( some very useful) that emerged here. Maybe it's time to close shop, knowing that future questions about bokeh can be redirected to this thread.

Martin.
Sorry I asked.

My 2nd thread goes to 6 pages...wow

Seriously, its been an interesting (and often amusing) read.
