I have a Pentax battery grip D-BG2 for sale. its brand new condition. I just tested it on my GX-20, it did work but of course doesn't fit the Samsung DSLR so selling it.

In box Pentax D-BG2 for £50 includes shipping to UK only. Will accept Paypal only.

Sorry for slightly poor photo, taken with my HTC phone.

Thanks

I know. Thats why am still searching for the lenses even though some overseas lenses seem alot cheaper. first thing i ask them is about import duty

Nice shot there Mike. £100 for that lens?
All i know is when I buy the lens I want to keep, its prices will fall or come on marketplace in abundance. Has alway been like that lol

Just looking at the Sigma 24-60mm. some places have it at £200-£210. good price? Searched through google shopping. And yeah, its for Pentax mount. currently looking into it. might give it a shot

How does the 24-60mm compare with 24-70mm? in terms of IQ, colour? Lets see, hmm.
I MUST try to act quick as I did miss the Sigma for £225 had buy it now price but someone else bid for it.

Edit: Jessops do from time to time give bargains on Pentax related items. e.g. it had the battery for K10d/K20d for £2.00 bought one but should have bought more!

After some recommendations, I am looking for either
Tamron 17-50mm
or
Sigma 24-70mm EX DG f2.8

Might be long shot asking for such good lenses but worth a try.
I am soooo sooo kicking myself now that I never bought the Sigma when it was selling for £129 at Jessops few months ago

Thanks

Thank you for all who offered. Some of you have suggested the Tamron 17-50mm and think it would be logical to purchase that at f2.8 for some indoor use.

Hi

Sorry - I actually have the 28-70 Sigma, not the 24.

Chris

Awww! the 24-70 would have been nice
PM sending on the 16-45mm

mikew mentioned above that he'd get the Tamron 17-50mm, I havent looked too much in detail into that lens, is it comparable with 16-45mm in terms of colour, contrast?

Comment by Waheed_Sadaf posted on Wanted: Pentax DA 16-45mm at 22/11/2009 - 13:26

Thanks for that. my list was
1) Sigma 10-20mm
2) DA 16-45mm
3) lens for portraites (Tamron 28-75mm or Sigma 24-70mm, I prefer the zoom lens)

Since 1 and 3 are hard to find option 2 would be fine.
Wanted option 2 and 3 to replace my kit lens which i wasnt happy with that much.

Thanks for the link too, am already there with same name and got the DA 40mm limited from there this week, waiting for delivery
