Hi Darrell, I hope you don't mind me writing to you directly, but if you are interested I have a M series 50mm F4 for sale. I appreciate that it may not be what you had in mind. It manual focus, has no automatic contacts and it not a true macro in that it only goes to 1:2, however I found it a very good introduction to close up photography, before I move on to a longer focal length.

I find lack of AF and automatic settings to be a non issue in macro work, since it is an aspect of photography that requires very good technique and set up. I found a fully manual lens made me think much more about set up and hopefully to improve my technique.

More recently I have used the lens as part of a slide copying setup.

The lens itself is in good condition. The glass is clear, aperture blades snappy and fast and the focusing smooth. There is a little dust commensurate with a lens of this vintage. I will also include the genuine Pentax case that was available as an accessory for the lens. The case is a little worn, but still does its job.

The price for the lens is £50 plus £5 postagein the UK, payment by PayPal with the buyer paying the fees .

If you are interested let me know ASAP as I go away on vacation on Thursday 19th for two weeks.

Regards - Steve
