I could never understand people being presented with a watch or clock on their retirement. I would have thought the last thing they would want to worry about is the time
My Happiest Days were the day I finished work and the next day when I realised I didn't have to go back. Before that Happiest Days applied to school

I'd rather just stay on GMT all year round. Less confusing than fiddling with the clocks at two arbitrarily chosen times of year. Putting digital clocks back an hour is a real pain.
Another vote for “GMT” all the year round.

Agree about fiddling with clocks, my car clock doesn’t get changed, the instructions look far to complicated, for my simple brain to cope with. (Peugeot 207 S SW).

Take care.
My car clock changes automatically. I also have a "radio controlled clock" in the bedroom so will be interested to see what the "real" time is when the alarm goes.

I've never understood the need for changing the clock back and forward. I think we should be proud to have the world using GMT for navigation etc. Never saw the point of GMT being called UTC either.

I can't remember what system the Norwegians in Honningsvag used for "Daylight Saving" in the winter, if fact I don't remember much daylight at all and of course in the summer it never really got dark

I quite liked the armchair shot actually. But I agree it's not exactly landscape, don't know quite how they shoe-horned it into that category.
I want to know what they were doing in my house

I wake up when its time to wake up and go to sleep when I'm tired. What the clock says now is largely irrelevant. Can be a bit embarrassing in the middle of some one droning on and on and o zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Of course nothing can beat a stottie filled with pease pudding and savaloy, or pork, stuffing and apple sauce with a dollop of mustard.

No, mutton pies.

Hard to really say what the grey greasy filing might really be, probably grey horses.

Good ones are still pretty tasty though.

Greggs sell one filled with macaroni cheese.

not for gourmets

I have been told, like the Frankfurter, Scotch Pies have no nutritional value. I wonder if there is a Welsh Pie, leek based, as well as a Welsh Rabbit. Or even an Irish Pie to kill the taste of the Guinness.
