I hope that really wasn't a reply!
I hope Tony is reading this Algi. He'll find it as funny as I did

Yes, thanks Barrie. I didn't, but a friend of Mrs Snap had told her so we booked it. The site also gave a list of reasons why she may not see them too, but as I said Fingers Crossed

I've just noticed I've had over 1500 posts and I always thought I was a person of few words

Last time I was there was in the mid fifties ( the years not my age) and I have a vague memory of being disappointed Mrs Snap has never been and hopes to see the pandas. Fingers crossed for that

Splendid - and I have an HTC phone. Not sure how old you are but I did have an Oric computer and not a Spectrum! There is a pattern emerging here I think.
I'm 51 yrs old now, but I don't remember Oric computers - first computer I owned was a BBC Micro (Acorn)!! Now I feel ancient... It's only a matter of time now before I start reminiscing about sweeties from the mid/late 60's!!
Still a young pup then

I had a spectrum or two and the bits and bobs that went with it, interface 1, microdrives etc. This was all superceded by a Victor 286 with a 10 mb hard drive and 640 kb of ram. Also had an Interak Z80 based, a modular system which was built up a board at a time. Happy Days

Think this should be in the pointless thread

My first Dslr camera was a used ist*DL2 and after using it a few times and enjoying the advatages of digital I short listed three DSLR cameras (D90 a Canon and the K7) all of a similar price but at the end the day the fact I had some old sigma pentax k fit lenses swung the deal for me. Bought the K7 and now have a K5 as well and a few more lenses. Of course I'd like to try other brands but am perfectly happy with what I have, and to change now and replace everything would be too expensive anyway.

Every one of them really super and I can't choose between them as to which I like most. The detail you have caught is incredible.
