Massive disaster on the catering front! Went to pull an ale out of the cupboard only to find an empty space. Nothing, zilch not even one rolled to the back and here am I pulling out of a bout of "Man flu."

I didn`t get where I am today by running out of ale.

A shock like that could cause a massive relapse

Is there an Aladdin's Cave of Pentax gear to visit, like the apparent one for N users featured in the mags (G of Westminster)

Thanks Don,
I'd already said No and am convinced this was the correct answer after reading your comments.

I've been asked if I would take some photos at a party in December. Number of people 23 plus some children. The organizer has asked if I could take a group photo of her with the adults and another of her with the children. I've said no due to lack of experience but would like comments on what would be the best equipment for this sort of task. As it would be indoors not the best of light etc I'm assuming a fast wide-ish lens.

Thanks for the comments John. I think it is a good little pocket camera for catching the odd unexpected shot, just for friends and family mind

The Optio RS1000 was the only camera to hand when I saw this butterfly and managed to get a shot before it swiftly disappeared into the neighbours garden. Resized for the forum and USM. Comments etc welcome

I like them all except #2 background. I think it's been a poor year for butterflies so you are lucky to have got what you have
