Marketing will win, ref betamax vhs. Whenever camera details about a photo is published in a magazine how many times do you see Pentax? Obviously there is no other choice for professionals, yet!!

Yes photobucket blocked. I can see the main items I need to see so won't grumble Thanks for the tip Gareth. Dunbar and Tantallon look the same as when I was last there, this time got up on the battlements of Tantallon, Spiral staircase a bit of a deathtrap

Getting email etc ok sitting in a bar in a caravan park near edinburgh using their free WiFi Can see the gallery pics and modified pics in the thread

Ok but wouldn't that affect the modified images in the post too I can see them, the B&W conversion and the ones barrie did. also the gallery pics etc. The connection icon is showing excellent 5 bars

using my netbook to view forum Your Images but not getting the original images in the posts. tried to view fatherted early autumn, not getting his images only the modifed images by other members.
If I quote fatherteds post I can see [IMG] etc but once I've posted there is a blank space.
Using unsecured wifi would this make a difference?

Super day at the zoo. Saw the pandas and some monkeys but the most amazing things were the painted hunting dogs. There were lots of signs saying how dangerous they were but the signs didn't say it was because the dogs were invisible too At least it stayed dry and the penguins looked cute in their temporary enclosure

A splendid first night in the huge caravan (4 bedrooms). The way it was shuddering and the wind howling it was like being back at sea. Supposed to be drier tomorrow but still windy so doesn't sound a promising day foe going to the zoo
