The photos were taken: #1 Preston Pans (Lidl Car Park) #2 North Berwick Sealife Center #3 Tantallon Castle and the Dog Walker at Longniddry Bents No.1 I think the area you are going to is due North of North Berwick across the Forth. The weather will be fine because I'm not there, Liz swears I'm a Rain God (ref Douglas Adams)
A bit off topic "East Neuk" stirred a lot of happy memories for me. There was a pub of that name in King St. Aberdeen and the upstairs lounge didn't open until 7.00pm, if you weren't in by 10 past you couldn't get a seat. In the 60's I spent a goodly part of my shore time in there of an evening

Thanks for the comments David. I thought #3 was ok too #1 has more grass in the foreground which I cropped off. I nearly didn't take any pics as the wind was so strong but I wanted one of the sea breaking over the houses #2 was really just a quick snap of the landing where I believe they run boat trips from, again the force of the wind was terrific and the people in the sealife center probably thought I was nuts I think they are Curate's Egg shots, good in parts

And no matter what the weather is doing there's always someone walking a dog

On Day Three 16 people were taken to hospital with severe panic attacks, they saw the Blue sky and couldn't understand what it was and thought it was the end of the world

Best thing I ever did was join a camera club and enter the competitions. I think the judges comments can be invaluable especially when commenting on your own work as it tends to "sting" a bit when negative but makes you take more notice than just listening to the comments on other members' work. Of course if you manage to get in the top 4, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or HC, it can be quite a buzz.

Just to add a bit more excitement to the games one could always use a cheetah, but don't cheat
