Enjoyable set and a nice warning to beware of the dreaded finger
My favourite is the last one, it really does shout 'HELLO' although I usually find most grafitti rather mindless vandalism.

Many boys of my generation dreamed of driving the giant steam locomotives. Could this be a reason?

44M 2 is the model no. The latest are 44M 7.
Some of them are very good and later doesn't always
mean better.

Was it made at the shishkebab factory. You can tell from
the drawing on the lens

The lens has a symbol like a pie dish with chopsticks

Thanks for that. Luck would have it the instruction booklet for the camera was in another bag containing a "Coronet" marked on a lever which is a foldy up thing camera. Wonder if anyone knows anything about those

Have been given an old zenit em with this lens

On the front: HELIOS-44M 2/58. Does this mean its a 44mm screw thread to attach it, I usually see them advertised as m42. Thought I might keep it to use with a bellows (which I haven't got yet )

Been given a bag of old cameras and was wondering what to do with. Now I know

I think ken rockwell sums up the aa or not to aa when he compared the d800e

"The D800 is for making pictures, while the D800E is for counting pixels."
Isn't that a "Wish I'd said that" statement.

A really handy cam for parties, now if a lens matched the current price of the camera (£59)

Thanks Gary, I never looked at the colour cast and there is room on the original image to move right. I was surprised the cat sat there, usually in these areas they are quite ferrel, will have to go back and pull the weed out
