First batch with the Q fish eye

Went out at lunchtime today to see how this wee lens performs. A couple of things to point out:

1) Being manual focus only, it is not as easy as the zooms or fixed 8.5mm to focus, even with FP active.

2) Remember to keep your fingers out of the way. I have left the shots with my finger in to prove the point.

Just needs some extra attention when using this lens. It has lots of potential which is why after seeing Alan's shots I committed to buy.

Best regards

Good to see what it is capable of in the hands (and fingers) of someone who knows how to use a fisheye. Looking forward to more. 2,3 and the last are my picks

Enjoyable set and a nice warning to beware of the dreaded finger
My favourite is the last one, it really does shout 'HELLO' although I usually find most grafitti rather mindless vandalism.

Very good, using a fisheye is not easy.

Interesting effects - I confess I'd expected not to like them, but you've chosen your subjects well ... and I like them

Much better than I expected from a 'Toy' lens

All comments appreciated. Just one correction to make, the 03 Fish Eye is not a TOY lens. The TOY lenses are engraved as TOY.

Best regards

2&3 for me too Gary.

the Q is certainly showing itself to be a very capable camera despite the small sensor.
My Names Alan, and I'm a lensaholic.
