That's a very effective image, and I do like the way the b&w gives it impact and a 'reportage' style.
You asked for C&C, so I'll say that I'm not sure about the amount of space above the head. You could try cropping that area to about half-way between the top of the head and the top of the frame, this would reduce the slight distraction of the white area on the right.
you got it...i love the reportage style,
i dind't crop this pic..because the space above..give some tridimesionality...to the kid.. and show a little bit where we were..
but now..i try to crop as you said!

The only lens I own that is slower to AF than the 50-135mm is the DA* 55mm f1.4.
what can you say about 55 da*?
is it the best for portrait?
[quote:3496ace15f="MrCynical"]
If you want WR then your only options are
DA*55 f/1.4
DA*50-135 f/2.8
DA*60-250 f/4
DA50-200 WR
DFA100 f2.8 WR
cause i've seen some ph using tele to take portrait's pic.
and i like this dof, i think the da* 300 f4 is too big to using for travel, while the 200 is less big and heavy, but i don't know nothing about this lens.
anyway i'm still confused!!!
but i don't need tomorrow so we can talk..about my problem!!!

Very nice, I agree with the cropping suggestions. Depth of field is just right for this, taking the shot from above is not usually recommended in portraiture, works OK here though, I would maybe burn the light part on the right hand side of the shot.
i'll try to burn the face
i kept dark the hand because it's cut off..do you think..it's better show it?
