Thanks for info. Lens has no "A" on it, this may well account for the display just blinking in aperture display. I take it that this lens is not compatable with camera.

I have a K100D Super and have been given a Sigma 28-300MM Aspherical IF 3.5_6.3. When fitted to the camera I can not adjust the aperture. Can this be overcome in any way?

Has anybody used this lens on a K100D Super. Wondering what sort of results it gives as I have chance to purchase one but need to be sure as to quality.
Hope somebody can give helpful feedback that would be great.

Just to say hello. Have been reading forums for a while. Just moved up from Fuji s6500fd to K100D Super. Still learning. Finding forum very informative.
