Welcome to the forum Katy. I think you need to change your signature though! You've got the standard zoom, so I assume you mean a telephoto. It all depends on what you want to pay, but I'd recommend the 50-200. you can pick one up quite cheaply from here or ebay (I might be selling one myself soon as I've just bought the 55-300; not sure though.)

The K-r plus lens I just sold was £11, so it won't be more than that for UK special delivery.

I was being a bit tongue in cheek . (And I suppose a bit embarrassed as I've praised the camera here so much and I'm now selling!) Getting a picture done right now is a bit tricky because of work, and I didn't want to wait any longer. It is in pretty much as new condition, except for that darn scratch...

As I took advantage of SRS's K-5 offer, I now have a K-01 body for sale. Before I upload any pictures I want to see if there is a demand, given the general dislike that this camera has on the forum! It was bought from SRS on 6/9/12 and I have the receipt, so a quick email to Chris means that any forum member will have the warranty transferred, which lasts until 5/9/14.

I do think the silver body is the best version and this one is in excellent condition with a shutter count of around 3,000. (There is a small scratch on the bottom that is only on the finish and not visible from all angles. Near the designer signature, though unsure how it got there as I take great care of my gear - check my recent sale of K-r to ktx8 ).

All original packaging and accessories are provided in mint condition. For pricing, I'm comparing against what SRS sold ex-demo kit for, taking into account the other factors and that this finish does appear to be rare on the used market. So I'm looking for £175 plus postage. If you're interested please PM me and I can arrange photographs. As with all my sales, if it's not as described, send it back and I'll refund all costs.

Couldn't resist! Excellent service as usual from SRS and the weather has obliged by providing the first overcast rainy day for a while

So look out for a white K-r (the Stormtrooper!) and a silver K-01 (the Runt!) appearing on classifieds soon...
