Thanks for that, will have a look at PhotoMe.
By "simple" really mean one dedicated to Exif data, sorry.
Thanks again

Hi,
Is there an accurate program around that only reads Exif Data for Pentax DLSR's/Lenes?
thanks

Hi,
Well just watched and read this thread so ordered the 55-300mm DA lens from SRS, very good price.
Here is looking forward to receiving it, even though I will have to prise it out of my other half’s hands!
Well came today, great delivery considering it was ordered late Wed night. Now to try it if I can get my hands on it!

Hi,
Another update!
Just replaced the Gimbal base with an old Manfrotto 115 head base, makes the head a bit lower and looks better than the base I made from Scratch!

Thanks for the info Beachboy2, may take the foot of the lens and have a further look!
As I mentioned it is only very slight.

On mine you can feel very slight movement between the front of the foot and the lens when it’s locked onto the tripod/head.
Sorry I know it’s trivial but any movement on a distant subject could be noticeable.
I also use a remote were possible (pity mines just died)!

Well I started with a ME (Great Camera) and a few lenes in the early eighties, then a ME Super which sadly died. After the children left the nest started again with a MZ60 and just the other year really got going with the K10D.

I know this might sound a bit trivial. But, after hopefully sorting out my support issues for my K10D/Sigma 50-500 combination, has anyone notice that there is very slight movement between the lens and lens foot on the Sigma 50-500, no matter how tight the lock is.
