it was taken at 100 asa f2.8 1/60sec in available light which was not all that good , its also quite difficult to determine the focus on the standard screen. will have to experiment to get the best results.

have just bought a smc 50 1.2 , it seems to have a very shallow depth of field ,one half of the mask is in focus the other not , is this because its made for 35mm? (k200d)

Thanks for your replies ,im now sorted , rang a couple of local camera shops one was a "might have", the other asked which type i wanted the pk or the pka ! picked it up yesterday .
