tried it today with the rechargeables i have but they dont last more than 5 mins , have had to buy some lithiums on the way home at a bp garage 4.99. going to have to sort it somehow.

Today i was hoping to do a tandem parachute jump for charity but the weather had other ideas , got to take a look at the plane that was taking us up nearly 3 miles in 12 mins.

not easy taking pictures of planes especially in dim lighting .

after the lithium batteries ran out i bought some energizer 2450 mah rechargeables with a fast charger. the problem is they dont seem to last long ,in use after a while the battery indicator shows empty , if i switch off and wait a few minutes it recovers and shows a quarter full. the ones in my canon sureshot used to last for ages . dont want to have to keep buying the expensive lithium ones .any ideas ?

trying a recently acquired 28mm f2.5 seems reasonably sharp but the colours are not a patch on the pentax smc 50 lens .

peter,thanks have taken a couple of shots at f8 and they are super sharp , but obviously the background isnt as blurred .
