I did an" initial reset"and a resEt in custom mode, on my K20D.My 50-200mm wr lens works fine but when I attach my Tamron 28mmf2.8 ,the camera does not ask me to manually input focal lengh and there is no response when I press my shutter button.
Any suggestions from the community is appreciated.

I pointed at the horizon.
the red dot does not appear.
the lens does rotate( not sure if this is front and back focussing) but the view thru the viewfinder is out of focus.

do not forget the Pentax lense cleaning cloth for spectacles as well . with some decent reviews too.

according to the guy at srs , a hot shoe cover has no bearing on weather sealing,in fact he stated he does not use one.so is there any need for me to give fleabay another pound for this product, even if it does have a spirit level.

Hello , my hot shoe flash cover on my k20d is missing. i have some concerns(whether valid or not)about weather sealing.do is it essential to cover the hot shoe and does the original part have to be Pentax or will A 3RD party do.

hello.....i own a k20d , when used with a 50-200mm wr lens , i find this does not auto focus properly , especially when pointing to a subject in the horizon.
have any forum members had similar issues?

Reading these posts with interest.
I must have the old da 18-55mm and am wondering if both the 18-55mm wr or/and 18-55mm dal is/are better optically.
