My battery covers for my K30 arrived this morning - I'm delighted with them.

A great fit - the battery is snug in it , and there's no doubt it can't come off accidentally.

Nah - some of us are just tired

I see I'm going to have to start clearing snow again

sorry about that.

That is NOT a nice way to end your working life

Wasn't aware of the Dutch one - though I have to say I've never looked for it

I've found the Norwegian one pretty accurate for Dublin in the past - so decided to try it for Glasgow and it seems OK.

Why can they manage something better [ and it's free ] than the Met Office here ?

This forecast - though pretty general isn't good link

I think I prefer this one link

Best of luck with it HG

I should be well on my way to Edinburgh now - my normal Sunday morning trek.

I cleared my garden of ice yesterday - the result of snow which had melted thanks to a short blast of sun and then it froze again , then snowed and the whole darn cycle repeated itself

Looked good last night - could get the car out easily and the road was clear.

This morning - that huge area was once more white and the road was a mess.

I know I can drive in it but it's the folk who can't make it hard for me . And there's no way I'm going out to walk on icy pavements - I have no desire to slip and slide and fall

Flipping weather !

Just sayin

It was a great day - shattered by the end of it - but worth it

people on all the other photos are recognisable so cannot be posted

Beware the fireworks etc tonight folks

Stay safe , dry [ externally ] and warm .

Happy New Year to one and all
