I've got a headache. Move on.

Have just tried my 70mm Limited with 1.7x and results in my eyes were excellent. Yes I know, the 70mm is already a cracker. That's all from me now on the subject.

Thank you all for your advice etc. Algi I followed the link you gave but must confess halfway through the red mist descended and I almost lost the will to live. So I will I think experiment until I find the best option for me, my K3ii and the lens I have. Regards to all

Algi thanks for that. In my defense at the time of my post I was on the wrong side of a very decent red. Memo to self, wine and Internet are not a good mix. Apologies to all.

In the morning when I can think straight I will hopefully answer that

Evening all. Recently acquired a 1.7 AF Adapter from a fellow member, no problems there at all.
1. Using 50mm 1.7 I set 85mm on the focal length, result:- Excellent.
2. SMC M f4 400mm set 680 on the focal length:- Not so good, but OKish
But then whilst lying in my bath contemplating the meaning of life I had an eureka moment.
3. Aaaaah. that lens has +2 set on fine autofocus. Would that make a difference?
4. I dimly remember/or not, reading that you just dial in the actual focal length of the lens in use?
Advice please.

Bought from Algernon. Fast, well packaged in excellent condition. Tried this pm on my aged 50mm 1.7 set to infinity as advised. Perfect. Thanks Sean

Don't know if my message was sent as it is not showing in my sent box. I am interested in buying. John

I have just taken a punt on a Sigma 18-125 HSM and despite some negative reviews have found it far better than expected, and the price was very reasonable, I use it on K3ii.

Agree with Mag07. Great lens for interiors plus good value.
