Thanks guys. Have tried using slot 1 or 2 and with both card slots occupied I turn camera on, everything shows as usual, card already in slot , no messages regarding card issue. Take my shot and the message "no card in the camera" appears. but, I can review my shot as normal and also download to PC. The only thing that I have done recently is purchase a new DA* 300mm and used it without any problem, I think the K3ii is due a hospital trip unless anyone can offer a solution. Using K5 & K3ii. On the K3ii when I insert card message displays "no card in camera". All card types. BUT my shots are on the card, I can review them and copy to PC. I have re-formatted cards, reset custom functions on camera none of which has resolved this issue. Any ideas gratefully recieved. I have owned the K3ii from new.

I really cannot understand why this camera is still unsold. Perfect carry around. Excellent cover all controls. If I did not own one I would snap it up. If someone out there is dithering over this, snap it up now.

Taken today with DA 55-300 from about 25ft. 1/250. f7.1. iso 400.

Just to add my two pennorth for what it's worth. 1. Don't despair you are in good company. 2. Be comfortable with what you have and do the best you can with it and that includes using PS or LR to achieve what you want.
On a pesonal level I have a K5 & K3ii but my go for camera is my GR which gives me better results. Good luck with whatever you decide. Regards John, very aged still learning.

Thank's guys for tips etc. I do have Sigma 10-20 which is my go for wide. I do not intend carrying everything with me , my wife takes the GDR and I will have camera + lens. The other batteries will be back at hotel brewing for next day. So thanks for wide suggestion 2 lens and K3ii should cover thing's.

Thanks Peter, we are staying Bardalino. Several trips pre booked, Florence, Venice, the Dolomites+ 3 others oh yes day trip around the lake and 3 others which escape me at the moment my interest lies mostly in buildings and scenic. Any technical advice most welcome. Knackered now and leaving earth orbit.

Based at Lake Garda (if I can escape from here). Several trips arranged. travelling light. K3ii + 18-125 3.8-5.6 OSM DC lens. + grip, 4 batteries, 2 chargers. Also.GRD. Intend using the Autumn months to PS or LR any of use. Any advice please, don't expect any fast response as this has worn me out
