Lovely contorted shapes in that oak Kris, growing out of those straight grooves in the field.

1 & 2 are beautifully composed, LennyB, and processed to great effect - they also work very well together, in a call/response sort of way. My pick of the set.

So now we know what they are like inside - just like those pictures of laser-cut cameras!

1 & 4 for me, Gareth, concerning the castle. I also very much like what you came up with in 6.

Strongly graphic sculptures, well framed in relation to their environment, and nicely processed. The last image is my favorite - great interplay between the sculpture and the vegetation.

That's an interesting take Steve, and an entirely different image. Strangely, it feels more 'complete' than Gareth's original, the 'incompleteness' of which makes the shot for me. De gustibus and all that...

Very nice work here, Gareth - literally 'all about the light'. I have a preference for the last 4, as their subject is the light itself, rather than a structured composition. I think I prefer 5.1 to 5.2 - less contrast gives it a more misty character. I don't know if you've seen it (and you will not be able to unsee it afterwards :wink, but 5 have a pretty big animal mooing, or barking or... in the sky!
