Some re-processed Lake District images from 2017 - I wasn't quite so adventurous with my B&W processing back then, I'm happier with some of these now....

1 & 2 are beautifully composed, LennyB, and processed to great effect - they also work very well together, in a call/response sort of way. My pick of the set.

These are perfect for me. Keeping detail in the clouds really makes the picture in 3/4

Some really nice photographs here. I especially like No. 2, and 3 and 4 are great too with all that detail in the clouds. What did you use for the BW conversion? I find the old (free) Silver Efex Pro 2 does an excellent job. I've no idea what I might gain if I paid for the new version.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

All very good, but I absolutely love number 2.

I updated from Pro 2 and found the new version was not compatible with the same software as Pro 2. Mind that was not Adobe software.

Thank You for the kind comments, I'm getting a lot of enjoyment (and pleasing results) from my mono conversions - I did use Silver Efex (the free one) for a while but somehow it has become corrupt and won't fire up on my laptop anymore

I tend to process either with just Lightroom of LR plus Sleeklens presets nowdays
