I must admit if I could of afforded the 50-500mm I would of gone for that one but I was on a limited budget and in the end got it pretty cheap so I am happy with it!

How long will it take to get and then send it to me?

I need one for next Friday at the latest!

I took this, this afternoon at 500mm...




I think it's pretty clear. I have been using big lenses for almost 20 years and I've found that when you get up to 500mm plus you have an incredibly narrow depth of field and if the focusing is not bang on it can give a soft sheen to an image...

The worst lens I have for is a 500mm Mirror. The depth of field on that thing is very very narrow.

I like the 150-500mm...

I have been taking some great shots with it. I don't know what the AF is like as my ist-DL doesn't support HSM autofocus. In any case I pre-focus when shooting action of bikes and cars.

This weekend I am heading out to Bruntingthorpe for a Subaura Charity track day and will be giving the lens a proper run out.

Saying that I did get a bargain and got it for £550!

You could always get a Negative scanner. I had a great one a few years back. It was a Canon transparency scanner that I sadly had to sell to pay a large bill off...

I really didnt want to sell it...
