Got the opportunity to go to this event on Bank Holiday Monday. Very very busy and not easy to get a clear shot. Shot with the Sigma F2.8 24-70mm zoom wish I had taken the 70-200mm really.

The main arena prior to the carnival leaving was inundated with the media togs and was extremely difficult to get a clear shot.

Steve - I believe the Leeds carnival got favourable reviews by the West Indian community in London last year, so you might be getting your very own "Notting Hill" event up there too!!

Look forward to that, although this is a very rare occasion that I have the chance not often I get the BH off work or weekends for that matter.
