I think that this does look like it is falling but whether this was the intention or not, I really like this image.

Cracking lens (the Tamron - cracked lens the sigma!) and a cracking shot. I would be very tempted to crop out the out of focus fly from the top left corner as it is distracting.

I think this is fine too. I've been out playing and also submitted a bluebell shot a few days ago. I found to get the carpet intensity, where it is not happening yet, try taking a very low view then you see more of the bluebell tips to give the carpet feel. Go back again, if you can over the next few weeks and when the leaves die back you see more of the flowers, giving a greater impress ...
