I like the top image but would crop it centrally to portrait

Take part in the competition! you will then see what other people have produced..... you then find yourself reading the judges remarks about the photo's and you look back at the photos having read the comments, it's all a learning process. If you don't feel qualified or your perception is you don't feel able to comment on technical aspects, say what you do and do not like about the photos generally etc. This alone will provide a different view point as we all have our own style. The more views about my photo's I receive the more I think about what I am doing and this can help to try and experiment with new ideas. Give it a go, the pentaxians are pretty chilled and always glad to give and receive constructive and helpful feedback. You don't have to take it all on board.

I have now sold all my pentax kit and I'm moving on and I thought I should express a few thanks and some gratitude to you all.

I plan to stick around on the forum for a while but I won't be visiting as often (I still have a massive bank of images using my pentax kit).

I have really enjoyed the friendliness, humour and advice given.

I really wanted to say, to those of you who bought my kit I hope it serves you as well as it did me.

More importantly, as someone who has only been taking pictures a few years I have learned an awful lot from many many of you and I have enjoyed your support and friendliness, the vast majority of members make this a great forum and I know you will look after all your new members in the same way you did me, when I first joined.

Thanks very much and best wishes to you all.

Apologies if I was supposed to set up the comments thread for the weekly competition. Anyway it is here now. Please remember to give a little preamble about your shot as this will help me with the judging. Good luck and keep the entries coming!

All items now sold or withdrawn. thanks to those of you for showing an interest of buying. Very best wishes
