This is what i want to buy and add to my small collection, i have ordered the adapter from srb-griturn, and want to know if this is a good one to have or not ????? There is no picture on the site, I have seen it and held it, there are no marks on it nor are there any on the optics, its clean.......
Any ideas or what ever you can think of for this will be appreciated.
P.S I have uploaded a test image i took with my new 18-55 kit lens if anyone fancies a nose at and possibly some CC and tips......

Looks like a promising start. One thought though, not lens related. If the exif data is correct you took that shot at ISO 200 at 1/4000th. Personally I'd have dropped down to ISO 100 as with a subject like that you do not need the speed.

There are all sorts of scientific tests you can do, but my suggestion would be to get out there and take some pictures with it.

For what it's worth I lost the hood from my 18-55 in the first week I had the camera while walking around on Maiden Castle. The bayonet fitting is extremely loose and flimsy in my opinion. I never replaced it and happily used the lens for another 2 years without noticing any problems from going hoodless.

You mean this one? link
That's the DA L version, optics are the same but it does not have a hood, Quick-Shift and a metal lens mount.
