not for my wedding for a wedding im shooting, lol im tired....

Hey all, im back in the forums again, ive been looking at long AF lenses but its hard to choose the right one......

I'm on a tight budget due to working part time, im roughly looking at about £100 to £150 either for a new one or a second hand one...

Any really good recommendations will be most appreciated. Ive been looking on ebay, microglobe, srs, warehouseexpress, pretty much any where and need some good solid info on the right long AF to buy for my kit......

please can anyone tell me what the hell the white/yellow ball is on my 50mm 1.7 lens, its really been bugging me all day. It finally arrived this morning, but typical of royal mail it came before i went to work.

my eyes are still young, dont have any issues with them. I do like MF lenses, means i get the focus spot on, even though it takes a few seconds longer.

my macro lens is totally manual and i get on better with that than the AF ones i tried.

i think i will stick with for now, there aint much point seeing as i just paid for it last night. i aint got £££££'s to spend, im only on a small wage monthly

unfortunately i am, its a friends wedding, they want me to start building up a portfolio, so they have given me the chance to do it.

I want to use it for a few portraits of the B&G but not for the whole wedding.

I want try a few lenses to get the feel of it and then make the call what lenses to use on that day. Ive still loads to prep. for it

i'm glad to hear every1 is enjoying snow, but as for travelling for god sakes be careful, especially with those cameras and yourselves. i might be able to get some pics on my way to work this afternoon.

tin foil helmet lmao, i think those will come in handy at night though, unless i'm in a world of my own again.

I say lets enjoy it while we have it, even if we cant get to work, lucky for me i only 25mins walk and stick my golf shoes on for the walk, YES you read it right i ADMIT i wear golf shoes in the snow to get to my work. Its either that or i spend 50 mins trying to crawl to work or just slide on my backside all the way there.

well in addition to that i just paid for it and should get it soon, i'll have to add some test images in my gallery, speaking of which has any one seen my gallery ???

A foot of snow and still going, yikes. i think the south would be livid if they had that much.

from what i have just been reading, and the test images i have seen, the lens is very good, compared to the AF version i haven't got that far, has anyone here got the AF version and the manual ???? And if so how do they compare against each other ????
