I shot my first pixel-shift image today so looking forward to taking a look at this tonight.

I've only fire off about a dozen wildlife shots on my K-3 II since I got it last week but I love it already. I got shots at a lower ISO in poor light than I would ever have gotten from my K-3 so I'm convinced the new shake reduction really works well. I'm also a bit anal about spending hours geotagging my photos and have resorted in the past to using a battery-zapping app on my phone to log gps locations and then match these up to photos using software on the PC. The in-built gps is going to save me so much time!!!!! More time to shoot! One thing I noticed compared to my K-3 is that the name "Ricoh" doesn't appear on the camera body anywhere.

Sold for £244, so I guess it all comes down to good marketing.

Yeah I guess it could be that. I'm emigrating soon so had hoped to pay it off before I go but I guess I'll just leave my UK bank account open with enough in it to cover the remaining payments.

One thing to note with the interest free deal is that you can't pay it off early (which is odd). SRS confirmed this in writing to me this morning.

I'm selling my trust old K-5 body to help fund a new K-3 II so that my partner can then inherit my K-3!

It's on eBay....but I'd consider offers from forum members too.

Just posted an abstract "smarties" shot earlier, and now uploaded first of tonight's long exposures.
