This is the third instalment of my lens rationalisation. This lens is used but in excellent condition with clear optics and is fully working. It includes the original front and rear caps.

I'm looking for £290 including RMSD, bank transfer preferred.

I've decided to have a bit of a rationalisation starting with this lens. It is used but in excellent condition with clear optics and fully working. It includes front and rear caps.

I'm looking for £285 including RMSD, bank transfer preferred.

I'm not an expert but fungus is often filaments, certainly in the ones I've seen. It could be fungus but possibly it is evidence of lens elements separating where they are cemented together. This can be fairly common with some makes and models of lenses so maybe a Google search looking for lens element separation with the particular Leica lens you are looking at might turn up something that corresponds with what you're seeing.

Good shots ! Shooting in high-speed continuous bursts will help with that timing you said you want to work on !
Thanks Frogfish.

I did have continuous shooting on (didn't realise how much faster the K5 was compared to my K20D) but there are some that I took that are late with the first frame so it didn't matter what the fps was after that! Also for some where I was a bit early the second shot was slightly too late, even with speed of the K5, which is slightly surprising despite being warned about this in every book on sports photography. Anyway, after this experience I certainly think the K5 can hold its own against the Canikons for sports photography.

Thank you to everyone for your positive feedback. Can't wait to get back out and try again now!

Well done on these. very well exposed, and super sharp. In my opinion football is one of the hardest sports to photogragh. Well done also on gaining an outlet for your work.

Some definate foul play in the action I might add...
Thanks Stuart - here's one with an umbrella for you...

Finally got a chance to use my new (to me) gear to photograph my first football match. I've included a few images below but I'm chuffed that Harrogate Town AFC have put these and others on their website, which you can see at the link below.

The K5 did well in the rain showers but I needed the Optech rainsleeve for the Sigma. My timing could be better but that will come with practice (I hope!)

Phew!
I was just thinking "how could I get this past the Mrs"
If the purchase falls through I'm not sure I can bear the responsibility of putting it back up for sale now!
