This is the third instalment of my lens rationalisation. This lens is used but in excellent condition with clear optics and is fully working. It includes the original front and rear caps.

I'm looking for £290 including RMSD, bank transfer preferred.

I've had a re-think on the pricing. Now £255 including RMSD. Bank transfer or PayPal.

Yep! Saw a thread on this (or was it the other) forum recently, with examples of the same 'problem' exhibited by a lot of top class glass, all without affecting lens performance.

Tried all my own lenses, and not only did they all 'suffer' from this to a greater or lesser degree, but none of them were consistent.

Here is a thread on here where the same question was posed and discussed:

It's seems to be a common thing that doesn't appear to have any effect on the performance of the lenses.

I've had a look at my other lenses most of them seem to have an irregular shape to a greater or lesser extent but it is more noticeable on this one It has got 8 blades and it seems the more blades the more likely to see an irregular shape for some reason. However, I've never noticed any problem at all with this lens; the blades are nice and snappy with no stickiness or oily marks.

Thank you to those pointing out the bargain pricing. The lens, however, is still for sale.

I will accept PayPal and I'll pick up the seller's fees if you feel you need for greater buyer protection than with bank transfer, though I have always had positive feedback on the few lenses I've sold here previously.
