Imaging Warehouse link supply a full range of film and processing equipment, based at Stratford upon Avon. They also supply digital paper and inks under the Permajet brand.

Thanks John, I had a feeling those soulful doggie eyes would nail it - unashamed exploitation of the aaaah factor. Our club is quite small and everything is done informally, for competitions we all have a list and rank our favourites (not our own, obviously) from projected images, and totalled points give the results. No outside judges involved.

Won first prize in our village photo group for best images of 2019! We all submitted five images and four of mine were in the top eight which was a bit embarrassing but I got over it.

819g as opposed to 2030g for the f2.8 version. SRS have a price drop this month on the 70-200 f2.8, the cynic in me wonders if this is to lower the trade in value for customers wanting to swap.

No doubt there will be performance comparisons with the f2.8, good to see a fixed aperture and internal zoom. Would I swop? I’m not sure but if I had the choice the smaller lighter one would be favourite for those reasons.
