Thanks for all your help and advice.

That's what I like about this forum, there seems to be an answer to everything!

I'll try all this out in the next few days and see how I get on.

I bought this lens last Saturday from SRS as I wanted a wide angle lens for the airshows that I'll be going to this year and having read some of the posts on here it seemed to get very favourable reviews.

I've just been having a play with it and at first glance the images don't seem very sharp at all, in fact using my 18-55mm kit lens seems to produce sharper images.

This shot was taken at F4 using centre AF and multi segment metering, 1/250 @ 24mm & ISO 400 & SR was activated. The K20 was set to Premium JPEG setting. I've also included a 100% crop.

Some comments would be useful as to whether this is the type of quality this lens produces or whether it is the photgrapher!

For Sale is this Lowepro backpack and lens case size # 2. The bag is in very good condition and so is the lens case which is attached via a loop on the side. The interior of the backpack is in excellent condition.

The only reason I'm selling it is that I need a larger bag for my recently aquired kit!

Finally got round to submitting some pictures from my trip to Iceland in November. These were taken with a K20D and using a Sigma 10-20mm and DA 17-70mm. Landscape is not my speciality so comments and criticism please

This one could be a bit better. I wish I had cleaned the filter and lens by the time I got to this point!

I had always wanted to go here and it lived up to and exceeded my expectations. Hoping to return next year at some point and we didn't see the Northern Lights though as it was too cloudy

Rob

Thanks for all your kind comments.

My Dad had been taking pictures with 35mm Pentax cameras for years and after the films were developed the photos would be placed in albums or worse still in boxes which meant they weren't looked at very often!

So this way some of his images can be viewed by more than just family which he would have been really pleased with.

Rob

Thanks for your comments Kris. None of these have been edited, I was given them the other day so just posted them but as I have them now I will play about with them when I have some time.

Cheers

Rob

These were taken by my Dad using his first Pentax DSLR, a K110d and 18-55mm lens and a Tamron 70-300mm.
He died unexpectedly last February so I wanted to post these pictures in memory of him and it was his influence that started my interest in aviation photography.
