Hi
I've been emailing SRS since Thursday with no reply. I've just tried phoning them with no answer.
Anybody know anything?
Rich

Hi
I've just got a K-7 (two weeks), having had other (D)SLR's before. I've found three problems with the camera detecting the orientation, and I just wanted to find out whether it was a real problem, or just something I haven't got right (though this unlikely).
In reverse order, I took about 30 pictures over the weekend, some portrait, some landscape. When I loaded them into Aperture, a few of the portrait ones were shown in landscape, and had to be rotated.
The weekend before, I had discovered that when you are viewing pictures, you can rotate the camera, and the picture rotates - nicely filling the screen with a portrait. Except that only worked sometimes.
Later that weekend, when I rotated the camera on the train, it flickered between portrait and lanscape continuously.
It seems to me that the camera isn't sure about which way up it is.
Any suggestion about things I could try?
Thanks,
Richard

Some background:
I've spent lots of money at SRS (in the shop) before, and I've found it, as have most others, to be an excellent place to go.
I've had decent deals on K-7 and K-5.
However, yesterday, at about 18:40, I 'bought' an M 85mm f2 lens (used) from their website. Today, at 10:11, I was sent what amounts to a "recorded message" email:
"Thank you for your order 17110, unfortunately we have sold out of the item(s) you ordered. Your order has therefore been cancelled.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.
SRS Microsystems"
I've made my disappointment clear, because I would expect their website to be reliable. Either it's not up-to-date, in which case it's worse than useless, or the item was sold this morning, in which case I would expect an honest explanation.
Any comments? (Other than SRS are normally wonderful - I know that!)
Richard
