have ventured into M4/3rds with OM-D E-M10 mk2 plus 4 lenses , just everyday ones . 40-150 f4-5.6 nice sharp lens, 25mm f1.8 same, 45 f1.8 really good , bit of a sleeper lens and 14-42 kit lens . Tried a couple PL cameras in the past but found them too small. My findings so far are that Pentax win hands down on ergonomics and menu. The Olympus i find the menu system a nightmare to navigate ,even something like bracketing is a faff to set up compared to Pentax where it is very simple. Hence i shoot in full manual with the only thing customised is changing record button(not interested in video) to become back button focus. The one good thing is that you can bring up the Super Control Panel screen which shows all your settings on the rear screen and allows them to be changed but still not as easy as Pentax having all the buttons there where you want them. As i shoot using my left eye the touch screen is turned off as my nose is liable to touch it and change something , i struggle to compose with a screen as well so use the EVF which i don't find too bad but Pentax OVF better. Image wise i shoot RAW , the Olympus files i find more difficult to process as they are smaller than the Pentax i find i can't get the same out of them but could be just me.
Do like the light weight of the Olly kit though and have used that mostly so far this year purely down to that and what i have been shooting does not demand any "arty" style but if i want oof backgrounds with decent bokeh or any other artistic look it will definitely be the K3
At this point in time bottom line is the APS-C kit is better for me being so simple to use and producing images that i like, the M4/3rds is great on portability due to less bulk but with the images the jury is still out, they seem to end up looking over sharp yet no real sharpening done to them, i also see this on Olly forum images .
Like you the K3ii is still a definite keeper for now.

Needed to scratch an itch.

Bought a Sony A9, autofocus and tracking speed is all I imagined (and more).

Feels like cheating a bit.
Know what you mean, I just bought 2 lenses for the Fuji
And me , 2 lenses for the Olly M10ii but it won't usurp my K3ii

Seems it could be bad contact , would give them a clean anyway. At least it is going again which is good.

sounds like a lens problem , had a sigma lens go wrong and it put the camera in a hizzy fit if i selected live view. It was no longer supported so they would not touch it. have had a look at the servicing list and your lens does not appear in it so would suggest a phone call. If they will do it then it could cost around £120 , Just guessing which section it would come under. My 17-70 cost me £92 for new stabilisation module and service. Hope you can get it fixed

i think the problem was you did not give much of a chance as they were almost immediately on Ebay.
