great set Gareth, makes me think about going down to Gloucester Docks for a session. Not sure it will live up to these though

great shots, mono ones very atmospheric, love them. You are blessed with a lovely area to live in, the nearest coast for me is Severn beach or Weston Super Mare, neither exactly inspiring

thanks for looking and comments, much appreciated. Actually bought the camera on this forum Michael for the bargain price of £90 if i remember correctly. Was thinking of an old Nikon D60,70 or 90 and using tamron adaptall lenses which could then be used on both systems but the DLcropped up. If you do a search there are a couple of places that do conversions but you would have to see if they will do Pentax.
IR is a love/hate thing David much like HDR but both can be interesting if used carefully . The colour that can be eeked out from the 720nm is enough to play with for the false colour which actually is not false as it was buried in the image somewhere to start with. 850nm and you are definitely into b&w only.
That tree is pretty awesome Gareth, in the corner of one of the 3 cemetery areas around the Church and you can get some good reflections of both in the canal if you're lucky

could be, will give your suggestion a try, thanks .Have the latest version but that appears not to recognise the PEF files and neither does the profile editor but have found a work around on that to get the profile i wanted.

i am talking about 1st DL PEF files as that appears to be the only files available on the camera.
