In short? Yes there are very subtle adjustments in Lightroom.
Not so much sharpening but other things.
For example the Sigma 150 500 has poor saturation and I always change that.
I have a set routine when processing my images and they all get the same values to try and keep a uniformed appearance
If you want my post processing routine Id be more than happy to message you.

David Rob?
I think when it comes to wildlife photography you have to find your own strengths,
Heres a few things that have helped me down the line
- im a birder anyway but knowing something about their habitat/behaviour is a brucy bonus
- know the limitations to the lens (never shoot at 500mm etc)
- Patience
- did i mention patience?
Pentax may have an inferior autofocus system but they do have one thing going in their favour that Canon and Nikon cant touch...
Size
It means a lot in the field.
the k-x and k-5 are small and light cameras coupled with the Sigma system
I remember having a go on my friends 7D and 300mm 3.8 - my arms literally ached

I usually keep the K-x on the sigma 150 500 - have done so for the last few months. I forgot just how good the K-5 was with the piece of glass!

I think the big lens will be staying on the K-5 from now on (compared to kx)

Ive had some joy trying the catch in focus with dippers and kingfishers - MF def has its uses
I've tried Canon's 400mm F5.6 and it its without a doubt the best birding lens ever.
Now hopefully Pentax will make something to go with the K-3
What a combo that would be
