what an odd post - no offence but I smell fish too often

As some of you may have read in earlier threads I have had fun revisiting the kit lens on the k-5 (my only dslr I have remaining)

All was well with the this nice setup until last night when I went outside to take a photograph of a toy that I wanted to sell on gumtree when I went to bring it into Lightroom as I always do for a wee tweak here in there I noticed that where I had focused on the toy car was out of focus.

I absolutely cannot stand front/back focusing issues!!!!!!! ARGH!!!

I cant afford to buy anymore camera kit so really need help on this one

You know when you start pixel peeping and you think you are actually TELLING yourself "thats not sharp" or "thats not in focus"

Its driving me barmy.

I am useless at trying to micro focus lenses so wondering if anyone had this problem before on a k5 with the kit lens and what micro adjustments you you used. +5 +10 etc
