Unmatchable creativity and imagination.
Brought to mind Odette's valedictory dance in the final act of Tchaikovsky's Swan Vesta ballet :P

I love the atmosphere on this shot. As GIULIO57 says, fabulous light. Great little lens but intrigued as to the camera body used. Curious to know the extent to which the wonderful lighting effect was 'natural', achieved by the use of lens filters (graduated), created in PP or some, skilful, combination of all of these

IF I were a squirrel, and last time I checked there was no evidence of a pronounced bushy tail, I would comission YOU to capture my portrait :)
What makes your image special is the way you have captured the subject within a natural frame formed by the twigs and branches in the foreground and the creative use of DOF :P

Oh my :!:
See the previous owner had the bullet holes repaired after Bonnie and Clyde had finished with it.
Seriously, though, a B&W masterclass :P

Wow: a brilliantly conceived, executed and framed image :!: Would make a fabulous canvas print for wall hanging, Roger :P

Great character study of this fidget-arse of a bird :P
The features that make the image stand out for me are the position and subtle motion blur in the wings (crack timing with the trigger finger), the detail in the body feathers and the gobbet in the bird's beak.

A visually arresting image that poses a question: what is it that has caught the subject's attention or that she is seeking to attract with her gaze?
Would I be correct in thinking that this is a carefully crafted composite image?

Flaming good, IMO.
It wasn't until I viewed your image large that I spotted The One Ring falling into the fiery jaws of Mount Doom
