Price reductions: Lens - £45; lens + Matched Achromatic Macro Supplementary Lens - £50.00

I would describe its cosmetic and mechanical condition as good-to-very good and the condition of its optics as excellent. It is offered for sale complete with original box, soft case and paperwork. My asking price is £50.00 O. N. O. excluding postage and packaging (buyer selects service provider and level of service required).

In consequence, the Raynox have seen very little use in recent years and the time has come to offer them for sale.

These lenses currently retail for in excess of £70.00 in the U.K. I am asking £35.00 for the DCR-150, 45.00 for the DCR-250 or £70.00 for the pair, all prices excluding carriage (buyer selects service and pays for shipping). My preferred method of payment is PayPal.

The following jpegs images (only levels or curves and cropping post-capture) were taken using a 50mm SMC Pentax-A (minimum focus set) mounted on a Pentax K-3. Both images with the supplementary lenses attached were taken ‘hand-held’.

Lens now sold ... Thanks for an easy transaction Jon.

@Defragged - I'm hoping so.

A K-1 - or two - indeed any FF really warrant a real wide angle lens. And the 28-105 is such a great lens that the 24-70 seems an extreme way to go just to get a wider view: bigger on everything (price, size, weight, ...) but range. So hopefully this represents a better solution. We will see.
You are most welcome, Mark.

It is a pleasure to know that the lens now has an owner with the kit and ambition to make good use of it.

Good luck with the sale(s), they should go quickly at those prices!
For all established forum users, Ben, and provided a firm commitment to buy were to be made at time and for the asking price, I would happily set an item aside until funds were available. Subject to the same caveats, I would also accept payment by an agreed number of instalments with the item released on receipt of the first.

Purchased this lens used when I was under the illusion that I, too, could produce wonderful landscape photographs like those seen in the gallery if only I had a suitable wide-angle lens. At the time I was also convinced that I would be buying a full-frame Pentax when the time/price was right. In reality, however, I soon realised that the bulk of my photography did not call for a wide-angle lens and I have remained resolutely wedded to the APS-C format. Hence, the time has come to cut my losses and seek to transfer ownership of this extreme, rectilinear zoom lens to someone with the kit, motivation and talent to make good use of it.
I would describe its condition as ‘very good to excellent’ with no apparent mechanical, optical or electronic defects. It is offered for sale with the original box, soft lens case and paperwork.

Full details and user reviews can be found here link and an in depth comparison with its nearest equivalents from Pentax and Tamron in 2012 here link

The KAF version of this full-frame lens rarely, in my experience, comes up for sale and when one does the asking price is usually in excess of £400.00 (which I paid and there are two in KAF mount selling on ebay at the moment if you care to look). My asking price is £275.00 (O. N. O.) plus carriage using whatever service the buyer chooses. My preferred method of payment is via PayPal.

Do not hesitate to get in touch if you have questions.
