Good shot and good lighting, of, I think Coprinus Sylvaticus, wait to see if the edges of the cap go black and drip inky spore containg fluid, to confirm. You can use what is badly named an 'Angle Finder' for about £30 from e-bay for Pentax these come with adptors to fit the view finder of various cameras, then it's just a hands and knees job on a bin liner for ground level shots. It does ...

Very good, impressive! So how was it done, I think the shutter speed was to fast (1/500 second) for it to have been by zooming whilst exposing!

Nice photograph and a pretty face but I'm really put off by people that wear ironmongery on their faces!

Thank you David, The reversed lens that I tried was also the Pentax-A 50mm F1.7. No Spanish Inquisition intended but was your flash Camera Hot Shoe overhead mounted, or to one side and camera bracket mounted? Your image suggests to me the latter and to the right as looking towards the subject. Regards Colin

Good shot! Effective and successful lighting! What was your working distance with your set up? In the past, I found that when reversing a 50mm standard lens onto a 100mm macro lens, the working distance reduced to approx 2cm which was too close for insects and too close to consider trying to fit a ring flash! Regards Colin

Good shot, good viewpoint. You know you've got the focus when you see those cellular compound eyes crisply in the image!

Cutting Edge Photography? It looks like a cutter but I can't see what the rest of the tool does after the tip has cut into the work-piece. Perhaps I've missed the point or my mind has been too heavily orientated to engineering. Is it rotating and you have frozen the motion of the centre portion by using 1/125 second shutter speed? Please explain what it is and what it does. Regards

I knew that this was one of yours Nezih, before I even waved the mouse pointer over it; there is something characteristic about your shots! Going out? How do you know that he is not on the return journey? Very interesting picture, a good example of horizontal lines converging to different out of view vanishing points; five wall faces, six if you include the ground surface, at different a ...
