To be a truely original brand camera I would say it needed to be developed by them. Although Im not sure if the market leaders Canon and Nikon develop a pure bred.

Its a pity it wasnt a sensor developed by Pentax though the results are impressive to be fair.

Thanks again guys for the feed back and the links this camera looks to be very good value for the money. Which to be honest realy makes it harder to Make my mind up which model to go for. I hope as said earlier both models might be available shortly in a store to try out first hand.

Spent part of the afternoon at the James Steele park near to me today these were taken with the Sigma 10/20 on the K 100 D except for the last photo which was taken with the Fuji 31 fd.

Hopefuly I might get to try both in one of the big retail stores soon Im not sure if I want to spend the extra £400 or so on the K5 yet.
