Nice set the combinations work well for you. Do you need permission to photograph in the cathedral still David.

I do not understand why anyone on this forum would want to point us here to this attention seeking and unpleasant person who for reasons that escape me seems to want Pentax/Ricoh to cease to exist. He and others of his ilk have been predicting the demise of Pentax for years, but it remains in business, innovating and catering for the discerning photographer with affordable and well built products.

Ricoh's announcements about it's future plans for Pentax and Ricoh cameras are carefully worded and insightful, published for us to read. Press articles tend to look for sensation and conjure it up from where it doesn't exist by distorting the company's reports and taking text out of context. Youtube videographers like Theoria Apophasis then build on that sensationalist journalism to create ill informed rants to garner attention and reaction. Posting links to their trash and comments on their pages is exactly what they want us to do - so let's not fall for it.

My advice is to look up the source material from Ricoh and do not give publicity or credence to prejudicial video outbursts like that on the OP's link.
I simply saw the video on youtube and had a genuine concern for Pentax. I was unaware of the rebuff from Pentax or Richo to the claim. Hence the thread. To be fair with the guy he did state in the video. He would like Pentax would remain a contender in the market. I also think remarks to his physic or looks are uncalled for.

Nice set the combination works well. They look sharp and the col's look punchy.

thanks for all your feed back on this subject. I really enjoy the Pentax brand and this forum. I would hate to see the company fold. However your comments seem positive as to the future of the company

You do lose parts of both ears but I feel it makes the image a bit more powerful. All down to personal preference of course.

Either way it is an image which brings a huge smile to my face. Thank you for posting. Are they yours ?
Thanks Peter for the feed back and pleased you enjoyed the photo. That for me makes it worth the effort. To go out and take time to get the shot.

They had big issues the removable finger grip as well. They did not seem to find one that felt right in there hand. I am still shooting with the KR so what do I know. Hope you enjoy the new camera.
