im still a bit confused but ill experiment. now when i put it in AE mode and when i press the shutter slightly P and say 125 light up hot come when its darker a lower number comes up if 1000 shutter speed is good for night time? im going tonight to get some shots of the City (PERTH - AUS) so ill just use AE with my flash.

i have a p30 with a HYCHL SICOR MC lense or something 35 - 75mm F3.5 -4.8 No.K8801839, with a Achiever 300dx flash (it says for pentax on the back) . I am only thirteen so i dont know anything about camera's and i was just wondering what aperture is and how to use it? for the moment i just use Programed AE mode because i dont know how to use metered mode because the users manual is complicated. i dont get what the 22 16 11 8 5.6 3.5 means? on the aperture ring or something!

oh also could i use KODAK ELITE chrome extra colour on this camer ( its for bright sunny days so even if its non DX film itwould matter would it because 100 ISO is a good speed for sunny days right?)
