ooooooo... didn't realise that about the voltage thing. i've already used it a couple of times as well. so far my camera isn't showing any signs that it doesn't like it. i think i'll just leave it in the box from now on until i'm sure it's ok.

I've also inherited an old 2x adapter to double the focal length on all of these lenses... i'll use it with caution, as i'm guessing it my filter down the quality, but it could be useful in certain circumstances.

And the flashgun i've got is a National PE-2057. This any good for use with the K20?

As mentioned in my other thread, i've inherited a M 50mm F 1.7 amongst others. for now, i'm going to stick with the kit lens *18-55 mk11) and the 50mm.

When i'm using the 50mm on my K20d and the camera asks me to input the focal length, do i enter 50mm, or 75mm?

as i pointed out in a previous thread, i've been lucky enough to inherit a few lenses from the late 70s, early 80s. I've now managed to get the K20d working with them. Obviously they're a lot more work than the modern lenses, but hopefully i'll be able to get some nice results with at least a couple of them.

So, this is what i've got:

• Takumar 1: 2.5 135mm

• Tokina 1: 4-5.6 70-210mm

• Super Paragon 1: 2.8 24mm
(never heard of this, but it does have a Pentax lens cap)

• Pentax-m 1: 1.7 50mm


I also managed to grab a flashgun as well.

So, can anyone tell me anything about these lenses and whether or not they're worth persevering with? They all seem in pretty good nick. The Takumar has a couple of small dust spots inside the lens, but the rest of the glass looks good - from my limited experience.

took 6 days in all, but that was because Pentax were slow in getting the new batch out to SRS. SRS were very helpful and honest in everything they said about delivery and seemed as disappointed as me that Pentax were slow in getting the cameras out to them. Once they had them, it was delivered next working day
