Another accomplished picture from your Lakes break.
David +1
And I love the 'fan' effect of the clouds which, strangely, is more noticeable in the thumbnail ?

Love the sharp foreground, and the way the background has become painterly - like a Heaton Cooper. +1
Lovely

The Loch Ness Monster has moved habitats
I like the way you have made the tree sharp (as a knife) to make it stand out (almost 3D !)
Nice to meet up with Larry - I expect you had a good 'chinwag' ?

Nice composition, David, and certainly conveys the atmosphere of The Lakes at this time of year.
(I hope you are not getting too wet, but at least that doesn't worry a Pentax !)

I like this and just had to open this thumbnail :D
I was therefore surprised by the comments from Andrew and David ?
IMHO I think the result just gives an impression of warmth of bright sunlight !
Each to his own, of course !

Lovely atmospheric shot, Magdelena.
I'm not sure which part of the park this is but as a lad I always found the woods on the slope from AP down towards the railway station quite eirie, so this takes me back !

Great capture, Bill.:D
Quite rare and often a bit skittish and difficult to photo.
We had a white headed blackbird frequent our garden a couple of years ago but he never came back the next year.
